Caunes-Minervois is a very popular medieval town located 25 minutes North of Carcassonne. The town has a large art community and has a population of 1600 people.

The house is on three levels and features a fully enclosed courtyard garden. The house has been tastefully renovated with a loving mixture of vintage and contemporary furnishings. The house is heated by electric radiators and comes with Wi-Fi.
Ground floor
- The fully equipped kitchen comes with all new appliances including an oven, hob, microwave, kettle, toaster, fridge and espresso machine.
- The spacious living room features a small dining table, 2 sofas and a coffee table.
First floor
- There is a double bedroom with gorgeous antique bed, and an ensuite bathroom. The bathroom comes with a walk-in shower, wash basin and WC.
Lower ground floor
- There is a utility room on the garden level which features a washing machine and a second toilet. The utility room is accessed via the garden.
Outside:
- There is a good sized garden featuring a patio area with table and chairs, shrubs and a pathway to the garden gate.
- The house is situated along the main street of the village yet set back from the main road guaranteeing peace and quiet. Free parking outside of the house and all along the road.
- Within walking distance you will find restaurants, a boulangerie, ATM, pharmacy and grocery store.
- Surrounding the village there are lots of lovely walks in the area and plenty of places to take your dog.

This cosy home with private patio and garden is located centrally in the gorgeous medieval village of Caunes Minervois. This is the perfect space to spend a relaxing year in the South of France. This pet-friendly rental comes with an enclosed courtyard garden, so is ideal for customers with a dog or cat. There are some beautiful walks surrounding the village. Although Caunes-Minervois is a small town, it does come with the essential amenities and there is a bit of life going on throughout the year.

The small medieval town of Caunes-Minervois features a beautiful 8th Century Abbey, which holds weekly Jazz nights during the summer. There is a twice weekly market held in the town square, which also features a popular cafe/bar set beneath the plane trees. The town also comes with a boulangerie, ATM, several restaurants, pizzeria, small supermarket, florist and pharmacy.
Caunes-Minervois is surrounded by vineyards and mountains so lots of walking opportunities. The local Minervois wine region produces some of the best wines in the South of France, many of which can be bought directly from the vineyards.
