Aups is a typical Provençal market town, that sits in the foothills of the Alps and just to the south of the Gorge de Verdon National Park, an area of outstanding natural beauty.
The villa is located just 2 kms from the charming village of Aups, which is located 1 hour inland from St Tropez, 1 hour 20 mins from Marseille airport and 1 hour 15 mins from Nice airport.
This Provence villa is not available during the period June to September. Pets may be considered.

The main villa is laid out over 2 floors and provides 208 m2 of living space. There is an additional annexe, with 2 more bedrooms, a shower and a small living toom. The villa is located on a large plot (7750 m2), set within open countryside.
Ground floor
- The main living room comes with a Cathedral ceiling with exposed beams and a terracotta tiled floor. There is a corner sofa, 2 amchairs, a large book case and flat screen TV (with international channels).
- There is an additional sitting room/TV lounge, which has an open fireplace, leather sofa and additional seating.
- The spacious kitchen is equipped with an oven, hob, fridge-freezer, coffee machine, microwave and kettle. There is plenty of storage space and the villa comes with a full set of plates, cutlery, glassess and cooking utensils. There is a dining table in the kitchen with seating for 6-8 people.
- Next to the kitchen there is a utility room with washing machine, iron and ironing board. There is also storage shelves.
- Bedroom 1 is a large room with a double bed and a wardrobe. The en-suite bathroom has a shower, wash basin and WC.
- There is also a guest WC.
First floor
- Bedroom 2 is a spacious room with a double bed, chest of drawers and wardrobe.
- Bedroom 3 also has a double bed and hanging space for clothes.
- The large family bathroom has a bath with overhaed shower, WC and wash basin.
- There is a work space/study in the corner of the landing, with a desk and bookcase..
Annexe
The annexe is located next to the main villa and is laid out on one level. It provides 43m2 of living sapce

- Bedroom 5 is fitted with a double bed, bedside cabinets and wardrobe
- There is a bathroom with a shower, wash basin and WC
- There is a small living room with armchairs and a coffee table.
Outside:
- the large heated swimming pool is 8m x 4m which makes it ideal for doing your morning laps. There are comfortable sun loungers by the pool. The pool can be illuminated at night.
- There is a large covered veranda (40m2) with patio furniture and a table and chairs. The villa also comes with a BBQ, 2 bikes and ample parking for several cars.
- Throughout the spacious garden there are numerous quite places to sit and read under the shade. At night, the garden is attractively illuminated.

This Aups villa is a great option for a long term rental in Provence, South France. Inside the villa is very comfortable and spacious and outside you can enjoy the large private garden and pool. This is a great quite space to chill out and relax for a few months. The good internet connection and quick access to both Marseille and Nice airports, also makes this villa a good location for remote working. The villa is surrounded by stunning countryside and you have access to some of the best beaches in Cote d'Azur within 1 hour.

Area activities
Aups is a beautiful medieval village with many shops and a large Provençal market twice a week. You will enjoy simply wandering the medieval streets in the heart of Aups, which contain various small chapels, ancient houses, fountains as well as some of the original gateways and village fortifications. The weekly markets, held on Wednesday and Saturday mornings and the winter truffle markets held in the town on Thursdays from November to February.
To the north of Aups you can explore the beautiful scenery of the Verdon Regional Natural Park, which includes the stunning Gorges du Verdon and the beautiful turquoise waters of Lake de Sainte-Croix.
To the south of Aups, there are several other small traditional Provencal towns and villages that are interesting to visit such as Entrecasteaux, Tourtour, Salernes, Cotignac and Barjols.
The Mediterranean beaches on the Cote d'Azur coast are 50 mins to 1 hour away (at Sainte Maxime).
The surrounding countryside is wonderful for cycling and hiking.
Other transport
There is a TGV train station in Aix-en-Provence, with regular regional train services to the nearby town of Draguignan.
Airports

One month deposit to be paid at time of reservation (this will become the security deposit for your stay). Rent to be paid in advance on the first day of the month (for rentals of 3 months or less, the rent is to be paid in full prior to arrival). There is a monthly provision of €300 towards the electricity, water, telephone/internet and communal taxes.
The heated swimming pool is open from the beginning of May until the beginning of October. If you wish to use the swimming pool outside this period, a surcharge applies.
