The house is laid out on 2 levels and comes with 3 good-sized bedrooms.
On the ground floor, there is a double bedroom and a sitting room.
- The sitting room comes with a corner sofa (which can also fold out to form an additional bed), flat screen TV and WiFi connection.

First floor
- There is a fully-fitted kitchen is equipped with everything you will need, including a washing machine, fridge-freezer, oven, hob, microwave, coffee machine and plenty of storage space. The house is furnished with plenty of cutlery, crockery and cooking utensils.
- Bedroom 2 has a double bedhas a set of patio doors which provide access out onto the upper terrace.
- Bedroom 3 is a twin bedroom, ideal for children or guests (the twin beds can be joined together to form a King size double bed).
- The bathroom comes with a bath, overhead shower, bidet wash basin and toilet.
The house is heated by oil central heating and the windows are mainly double-glazed.
Outside: there is a large garden, with a gravel terrace and a lawn. There is a large seating and dining area perfect for relaxing. On the first floor of the house there is a wrap around balcony, which has patio furniture and great views over the fields.

The village of Villeneuve Les Corbieres is a small wine producing village in the heart of the Corbieres wine region. Some of the most exciting wines in Europe come from this area and many wineries do tours and let you really get a feel for the process of wine making. The surrounding mountains hide Cathar castles and sleepy villages surrounded by the most beautiful scenery. There are also lovely fresh water lakes and rivers for swimming and excellent cycle routes and walking trails.
In the village there is a post office, a store and bar that operate seasonally. There are services that come into the village like the pizza van and butchers van. There is a well equipped park, with table tennis and tennis courts.
The nearby villages of Tuchan and Durban have several stores, bars and restaurants. Both villages have frequent markets and Tuchan has a open air pool that opens between June and August.
In the nearby village of Fontjoncouse, there is one of the best restaurants in the South of France. The Auberge de Vieux Puits is run by Gilles Gujon and has 3 Michelin stars.

Driving directions
Villeneuve les Corbieres is located on the D611 which connects the village to both Tuchan and Durban Corbieres. The road continues up to join the A61 motorway near Narbonne (35 mins). The A9 motorway (which connects Perpignan to Beziers, Montpellier and up to Lyon) is just 20 mins drive away.
