La Réserve is a lovely 3 bedroom house for long term rentals in the Port area of Nice, South France. This semi-detached house is located on a small private estate and comes with lovely views down to the sea from the roof terrace. The house has 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a garden, balcony, roof terrace, Jacuzzi and parking for 2 cars.
From the house, you can walk down to a number of lovely coastal restaurants, including the elegant 19th Century restaurant, La Réserve de Nice. There are also 3 bus stops within 2-3 minutes walk of the house.
This house is available for long term rentals from September 2024 and can either be rented as a furnished or unfurnished property. The monthly rental price is €3,300 euros + bills per month. The property is available for rentals of up to 2-3 years.

The house is situated in a quiet residential area and is laid out over 2 floors. The house is located opposite a park (Parc Vigier) and is a very safe area of Nice.
Ground floor
The open plan living room is very bright and airy and contains the lounge and kitchen and leads on to the sitting room. The room has reversible air conditioning.
- The lounge contains a large 'L' shaped sofa, coffee table and TV. There is also a dining table with 4 chairs.
- The fitted kitchen is equipped with an oven, gas hob, microwave, kettle, toaster and washing machine. The kitchen also has a bar area with 2 stools.
- The sitting room is a lovely space to relax. It contains a sofa and a coffee table. A set of patio doors provide access to the garden.
First floor
- The master bedroom contains a double bed and an en suite bathroom. Patio doors provide access to the private balcony, which overlooks the garden and has views down to the coast. The en-suite bathroom has a corner bath with overhead shower, a heated towel rail and twin wash basins. There is a separate WC.
- Bedroom 2 also contains a double bed
- Bedroom 3 can be set up either as a twin or double bedroom. The bedroom has access to the balcony. Alternatively, this room can also be used as a home office.
- The family bathroom comes with a walk-in shower, WC and wash basin.
Outside:
- There is a patio garden with decking and a table and chairs. The Jacuzzi is in-built within the decking, allowing you to step straight in. The garden gate provides access to the 2 parking places at the front of the house
- There are two balconies on the first floor (the large of which is accessed from Bedroom 1 and the smaller one from Bedroom 3).
- On the top floor, there is a large roof terrace with sunloungers and lovely views down to the sea.

The monthly rent is €3,300 per month and in addition to this, there is a monthly provision of €350 towards the electricity, water, Wi-Fi and local taxes. Nice long term rentals house South France - our opinion
This long term rental house is located in a perfect spot close to the centre of Nice. The house provides easy access to the beach and port area and also has quick transport links into the city centre. The port area is a very calm and family friendly neighbourhood, with numerous restaurants.

The Mediterranean city of Nice has been attracting visitors for over 3 centruries. Nice, is the largest city on the French Riviera, with a population of 500,000. Nice is also home to Nice Cote d'Azur Airport, the third-busiest airport in France (after Paris-Charles de Gaulle Airport and Paris-Orly). Nice is also one of the main railway hubs in the South of France, with trains serving the coastal region and inland to Grasse. The TGV Sud Est service reaches Nice in 5 hrs 30 mins from Paris.
With its broad avenues, wide sweeping bay and golden beach it is not difficult to see why some 3 million people flock to Nice every year. Only Paris rivals it as a tourist attraction. With the famous Promenade des Anglais, over 17 museums (including the Matisse museum), the Russian Cathedral and Vieux Nice, there is so much to do and see.
Nice is also home to a celebrated Jazz festival. In actual fact, Nice held the very first jazz festival in the world in February 1948. Over the years the Nice Jazz festival has been attracted all the great Jazz musicians of the age including Louis Armstrong, Miles Davies, Charlie Mingus, Dizzy Gillespie and Ella Fitzgerald. The 2021 Nice Jazz festival will be held from 17 to 21 July 2021 (see Nice Jazz Festival 2021).
The enormous Nice carnival procession takes place over 15 days during the Mardi Gras.Also, during December, the Nice Christmas market ("Le Village de Noel") takes over the central Jardin Albert 1er and incorporates an ice rink, a Ferris wheel and a lot of Christmas related food and drink.
The Port area of Nice is located close to the city centre and is a safe, mainly residential area of the city. There is a local beach (Coco Beach) and numerous restaurants with lovely sea views. A local bus service can take you to the Vieux Ville area of Nice in just 20 mins, with buses running every 15 mins.

There is a very good local public transport network close to the house with 3 different bus routes.
Airports
Nice airport is 30 mins by car/taxi ride. You can also take a train and local bus, which takes around 50 mins.
