Ground floor
- You enter the property into a large hall way. At the end of the hallway, there is a door out to the lower terrace.
- The halway also gives access to the large garage which has plenty of storage space and you can park one car.
- There is also a shower room and laundry room.
First floor
- The large living room comes with a lovely stone fireplace, 2 sofas, TV and bookcases.
- The dining room has a table with seating for 6-8 people. Patio doors lead out onto the upper terrace.
- There is an office complete with desk and plenty of book shelves and storage space. Alternatively, the office can be converted into a bedroom
- The fitted kitchen includes an oven, hob, dishwasher and fridge-freezer. There is plenty of storage space and cooking utensils, plates, cutlery and glasses. Patio doors lead out onto the upper terrace.
- There is a bathroom on this floor with bath, overhead shower, washbasin and WC.
Second floor
- There are 3 very large bedrooms with plenty of storage.
- There is a bathroom with sink and shower. There is a separate WC.
Outside
- There is a terrace (15m2) which comes with a patio table and chairs. The terrace benefits from sun in the morning and late evening.

The rental price for this house in Roujan do not inculde the utility bills. There is a monthly provision of €225 towards the electricity, water, WiFi and communal taxes. The Owner prefers to rent the property on an annual contract (running from October to October)

12 month long term rentals property France - Our opinion
Last visited: March 2023. This is an excellent long term rental property for a couple or family looking to move to France for a year. The village of Roujan is well-equipped with a range of local services such as a large supermarket, primary & secondary schools, restaurants and sports facilities. The house comes with a very large garage, which also offers storage facilities in addition to parking a car.
Please note, tenants must be able to commit to a fixed term rental period of 12 months.

This South of France long term rental is in the village of Roujan where there are 2 bars, a delicatessen, 2 bakers,pharmacy, grocery store, butchers. There are a couple of restaurants in the village and close by with numerous restaurants in Pezenas.
There are a wealth of things to do and see within one hour of this Roujan house; seaside beaches or mountain tours; walking or cycling in wooded hillsides; tennis courts in the village; wine tasting; local village festivals and markets; local castles, abbeys and monuments; the historic town of Pezenas - ´Moliere´s town´ - just 5 mins away with a fantastic market; ancient villages of Roquebrun and Olargues up in the Orb valley; St Guilhelm le Desert, famous fortified hill village; Bouzigues fishing village on the Etang du Thau famous for its oysters and moules; the Canal du Midi; the famous citadel of Carcassonne and Montpellier.
Half an hour from beaches at Valras Plage, Serignan. Valras plage has many cafes and restaurants. Horse riding and karting is available at both. It is near the main auto route and train station at Agde or Beziers.
Other transport
There is a TGV train station in the nearby cities of Beziers and Agde. Bus services run from both towns to the nearby town of Pezenas. There is a regular bus service from Pezenas to Roujan.
