This 2 bedroom apartment is located on the second floor of a 250 year old building. Pezenas is the prettiest town in the Herault department in Languedoc-Roussillon. The town has remained largely undisturbed over the last century. The medieval centre boasts scores of beautiful historic buildings and over 60 artisan shops selling/making jewelry, glass blowing, pottery, art etc. Pezenas is also home to over 35 brocantes (Antique stores), dozens of restaurants, bistros, bars and cafes, and cultural events and festivals all year round.

The apartment is located on the second floor of an old 17th Century town house in the centre of Pezenas.
- The open plan living room contains the lounge, dining area, kitchen and utility room.
- The comfortable lounge features high ceilings and 2 sets of French windows which let plenty of light flood into the apartment. There is a large sofa, 2 armchairs and a flat screen TV.
- The kitchen is fully equipped with a fridge, freezer, oven, stove, microwave and dishwasher. The cellier just off the kitchen has a Nespresso coffee maker, kettle, and toaster.
- There is also a washing machine at your disposal in the apartment.
There are two bedrooms.
- The Master bedroom features 14 foot high ceilings and a Queen-sized double bed. There is a small dresser and closet.
- The second bedroom has two single beds and features original beams that date back nearly 300 years.
- The bathroom is equipped with a modern walk-in shower and stylish wash basin. There is a separate WC with hand basin Enjoy a therapeutic experience on the stone shower floor.

This apartment is ideal for a long vacation in the South of France. Pezenas is situated 20km from the nearest Mediterranean beaches, 12 Km from the Canal du Midi, with motorways, airports and TGV stations all within a short distance. The area boasts outstanding natural beauty for walking, cycling, climbing etc. Sailing either on the Etang du Thau or the Mediterranean is within easy reach. St. Guilhem le Desert, Cirque du Navacelle and the famous Millau Bridge are all within 1 and a half hours drive away. The cities of Beziers, Narbonne, Carcassonne and Montpellier are within easy reach and have a host of cultural, historic and artistic offerings. The area is the biggest wine growing region in France with hundreds of vineyards which gives an added dimension to a little `wine tasting`! The nearby coastal towns and villages have wonderful fish restaurants and Bouzigues, Sete and Marseillan are all famous for the oysters, mussels and other shell fish farmed and served in the area.
The famous Pezenas Estivale takes place weekly throughout July and August with dozens of food stalls and wine growers all selling their wares. A great time to have dinner `al fresco` in the main streets of Pezenas seated at one of the long tables available, chatting to locals, watching the world go by, all accompanied by the great jazz band playing in the street.

There is a TGV train station in Beziers and Agde. A local bus service runs from Pezenas to both towns.
