Carcassonne also has an international airport, Railway station and provides easy access to the A61 motorway, which runs from the Atlantic coast to the Mediterranean. The apartment is located in a quiet neighborhood on the edge of the town center, within walking distance of all sights.This is an ideal location for a long stay in France.

This comfortably furnished apartment is located on the ground floor of an apartment complex. The apartment has its own secure parking and a swimming pool.
The apartment consists of an entrance hallway that leads onto the open-plan living room.
- In the lounge there is a flat screen TV with DVD player, a leather three-seater sofa and an armchair (both of which can be put into a reclining position).
- The corner kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher, fridge freezer, coffee maker (Senseo), kettle, toaster, microwave, electric stove with oven and of course extensive crockery, cutlery, pans etc.
- The two bedrooms both come with a double bed and there is also a baby cot available.
- The bathroom comes with bath / shower, wash basin and washing machine. There is a separate toilet.
- There is also storage space with the a vacuum cleaner, ironing board and the iron. The apartment has electric radiators for heating.
Outside:
- The apartment has a large balcony where you can enjoy a spot of lunch or a glass of wine in the evening. The balcony comes with a table and chairs, and has a view of the neighborhood.
- In the courtyard of the apartment complex there is a swimming pool that is freely accessible to all residents (open from mid-June to mid-September).

The main part of the town is built around the medieval Bastide and is often referred to as the Ville Basse, due to its location below the higher ground on which the castle is built. The second area of Cacassonne is called the Cité and comprises the fortified castle. Thiis the largest fortified town in Europe and it is the second most-visited historic monument in France.
