Le Vallespir apartment for long term lets in the South of France is situated 3 kms from the market town of Ceret. There are 2 apartments available for rent in this 600 year old farmhouse. This apartment is located on the top floor of the farmhouse. This 2 bedroomed apartment offers all the home comforts for a long stay in France whether house hunting or on an extended vacation.

This 2 bedroom apartment offer spacious accommodation. The apartment comes with Wifi internet and air conditioning.
- The Master bedroom contains a double bed and comes with en-suite shower room and wc. This bedroom gives access to the to the sunny roof terrace (33m2 in size) which is a great place for catching some sun or quietly reading a book.
- There is also a triple bedroom (3 single beds), which also has access to the roof terrace.
- There is a second shower room and wc.
- The pretty living room is fitted with a dining table and chairs and a comfortable sofa. The TV is a Smart TV with Netflix, Amazon Prime, Youtube, etc.
- Patio doors provide access to a large balcony (19m2) overlooking the garden.
- The modern kitchen has recently been refurbished and is equipped with an oven, hob, extractor fan, large fridge-freezer, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine.
- Heating is provided by reversible air conditioning and electric radiators.
Outside: The house is set in a pretty, informal garden which in turn gives access to a stream which meanders through the valley. There are old farmbuildings, a laundry room, summer kitchen, several balconies, terraces and roof terraces with views. There is a large swimming pool of approximately 11 x 5 metres which has a security fence.

The nearest small village (Reynès), has 2 restaurants, a bakery, pharmacy, hairdresser, post office etc. Céret, a very up and coming centre of culture is a mere 3 kms away. Here there is a Musée d`art Moderne as well as several museums and plentiful galleries. Pavement cafés are threaded throughout the town. There is much to interest and amuse, with cycling, canyoning, horse riding, scuba diving etc for the sporty, and many abbeys, castles and interesting romanesque architecture. The area has a rich cultural history. The Vallespir is a region of outstanding natural beauty with a huge variety of flora and fauna, amazing gorges, abundant forests and much, much more.
Ceret is a historic market town situated in the Vallespir valley. Ceret has three main claims to fame: it is traditionally the first town in France to produce cherries it also has a very strong artistic heritage with its own prestigious art museum. Among other famous painters, Picasso spent much time here; and lastly Ceret is still a bull fighting town with two corridors held every year in June.
The Mediterranean towns of Collioure and Argeles are half an hour away by car and the medieval city of Perpignan is very close, the nearest beach is 30 km.
