Le Rameur is a beautiful town house for long term rent set in the heart of the coastal town of Argeles-sur-Mer, in Southern France. Argeles-sur-Mer is situated close to Perpignan on the Mediterranean coast, near the Spanish border.
The house is situated in the most photographed street in this famous Catalan town, popular for its many shades of Bougainvillea plants. The house is available for rentals from November to April from €1,100 per month + bills.
Le Rameur boasts a lovely roof top terrace and has been fully renovated to a very high standard. The house has three double bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, two new kitchens, air conditioning and WiFi Internet. The house also comes equipped with 3 mountain bikes, body surf boards, snorkel and masks.

The house is laid out over 4 floors and comes with exposed stone walls and original beams. The house is fitted with reversible air conditioning, as well as electric radiators and a feature fireplace:
Ground floor
- You enter the house into the large refurbished kitchen. The kitchen has been fitted with high quality Miele appliances (dishwasher, oven, hob, large fridge-freezer and microwave). There is plenty of storage space, plates, cups and cutlery.
- The kitchen features a large dining table with bench seating.
- Next to the kitchen there is a utility room with washing machine, iron and ironing board, as well as a storage area for bikes, surf boards, etc.
- There is a beautiful bathroom with exposed stone walls. The bathroom features a free-standing bath, sink and WC.
First floor
- There is a spacious lounge, which comes with air conditioning. There is a large sofa, 2 armchairs, a Flat screen TV and a dining table. The lounge also contains a stone fireplace (with real flame-effect insert fire) and a large electric radiator.
- Bedroom 1 is located next to the lounge and comes with a double bed (160cm x 200cm), large antique wardrobe and chest of drawers. This bedroom has a small lightwell.
Second floor
- Bedroom 2 is a large double bedroom with a comfortable bed (160cm x 200cm). The bedroom has views out over the street. This bedroom comes with reversible air conditioning and contains a wardrobe, 2 chest of drawers and bedside cabinets
- The stylish bathroom comes with a tiled shower unit, sink unit and WC.
- Bedroom 3 comes with a double bed, bedside cabinets and a storage cupboard. The bedroom also has air conditioning.
Top floor
The stairs up to the top floor are steep, but there is a solid handrail for support.
- There is a sitting room and summer kitchen. The sitting room contains a stylish sofa, coffee table and large armoire (containing many board games). There is also a wall mounted flat screen TV.
- The summer kitchen features the same sleek units as the main kitchen on the ground floor. The kitchen is equipped with a sink, induction hob, fridge and microwave. There is a full set of plates and cutlery, as well as glasses.
- Patio doors from the summer kitchen lead out onto the large roof terrace, which contains a raised planter, gas barbecue and patio table and chairs. The terrace is a very quiet & private space and has views over the town\'s rooftops.

The house is available for long term rentals between November to April. The rental prices do not include the utility bills (there is a monthly provision of €200 towards the electricity, water, Wi-Fi and communal taxes). Minimum stay is 3 months.

The house provides very comfortable accommodation for a house hunting trip or on an extended holiday. Argeles-sur-Mer is a great location for a long term rental by the coast in Southern France. The beach is just 2-3 mins drive and the town comes with all the facilities and services that you will need (including a local train station with services to Perpignan and along the Mediterranean coast to Collioure and Port Vendres).

Area activities
This house for long term rent in France is located close to the beach in Argeles sur Mer. Argeles has some of the best beaches in the South of France, with 7 kms of coastline and 3 kms of small coves. The resort that has been granted the blue flag award for its beaches and harbour. It has two nature reserves: Mas Larrieu nature reserve by the sea and La Massane forest in the heart of the Albères.
Argelès-sur-Mer itself is a typical coastal town, with a warren of narrow streets, colourful buildings and a lovely 14th century Church. The town is just 20 kilometres from Perpignan. There is a local train station with services to Perpignan and down the coast to Collioure and Port Vendres. At the back of the town, there are a number of paths which take you up into the mountains.
Other transport
There is a local train station in Argeles-sur-Mer (quite near the house) which provides local trains to Collioure and up to Perpignan. From Perpignan you can access the mainline TGV trains to Paris, Barcelona, Montpellier, Toulouse, etc.

Rent to be paid in advance on the first day of the month (for rentals of 3 months or less, the rent is to be paid in full prior to arrival). The utility bills are to be paid in addition to the monthly rent. There is a monthly provision of €175 towards the utility bills. References may be required. Minimum stay is normally 3 months.
