This lovely 5 bedroom house in the Midi-Pyrenees for long term rental is located in the heart of the Armagnac producing region of the Gers. The house is situated in a small hamlet called Larroussa, on the outskirts of the town of Gondrin, which is 15 mins drive to Condom. The cosmopolitan city of Toulouse is 1 hour 45 mins and the beaches along the Atlantic coast are 2 hours away.

This 5 bedroom restored property comes with a large garden and a gated private pool. Inside the house combines high-end furniture and fittings, with a very unique French rural experience. With 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms the house can comfortably accommodate up to 10 guests.
On the ground floor,
- The open plan living room contains 2 sofas, a large coffee table, TV with dvd and wood burner.
- Next to the lounge there is a dining area featuring a dining table that can seat 8-10 people.
- A couple of steps takes you down into the beautiful modern kitchen. The kitchen is fully-fitted with a washing machine, microwave, freezer, oven, grill, dishwasher, fridge, toaster, hob, coffee machine & smoothie maker. There are plenty of cooking utensils, plates, glasses and cutlery.
- Also on the ground floor there is a double bedroom and a bathroom with shower enclosure and toilet.
On the first floor there are 4 bedrooms.
- The Master Bedroom comes with a king size bed and an en suite bathroom with toilet, bath and shower cubicle.
- The three other bedrooms on this floor all contain twin beds.
- The bedrooms share a family bathroom with toilet, wash basin and bath with overhead shower.
The house also comes equipped with WiFi internet, a hair dryer and Iron & board. Linen and towels can be provided.
Outside: there is a private pool (open May to Oct) located in the centre of the large lawned garden. The pool is 11m x 5m with roman steps. The pool is completely fenced around for safety. There is a paved patio area with a Barbecue, an outdoor table with seating for 10 people and plenty of deck chairs. There is private off-street parking for 3-4 cars.

This furnished house to rent in the heart of the Armanac region in the Gers department, provides very comfortable accommodation for a long stay in France. The local countryside is very beautiful and features some stunning villages like Fourcès and Larressingle. The local cusine is dominated by fois gras and confits de canard. With many local markets on your doorstep, you are sure to enjoy a wonderful experience of French rural life.

Area activities
This 5 bed house with pool is situated in a rural location yet is only a short distance from local town with most amenities. There are three other houses in the hamlet, so it is quiet but not totally isolated. The Gers department is famous throughout France for its production of the Armagnac brandy. The capital of Auch is a very beautiful town and the former seat of the Duchy of Gascony. The town of Condom (a comic gift for every schoolboy!!) actually has a Museum for Contraceptives (even though there is no historical link between the town and . . . err . . . condoms). It is actually a very pretty town with a river running through the centre of the town and a popular weekly market.
There are tennis courts in Condom, as well as boat hire. A local golf course is located 20 mins from the house.
There is a good local restaurant in Gondrin, as well as a hotel, pharmacy and boulangerie. The beautiful walled town of Larressingle is just 9kms away.

There is a TGV train station in Auch.
Airports
The nearest airports are located at Toulouse (1 hour 30 mins) and Lourdes (1 hour 45 mins).
Driving directions
Gondrin is located on the D931 main road which connects Condom to Eauze. Toulouse and Auch can be reached quite easily along the N112 main road.

One month deposit to be paid at time of reservation (this will become the security deposit for your stay). Rent to be paid in advance on the first day of the month (for rentals of 3 months or less, the rent is to be paid in full prior to arrival). The utility bills are to be paid in addition to the monthly rent. There is a monthly provision of €350 towards the utility bills. References may be required. Minimum stay is normally 3 months.
