This stone-built cottage is located in the centre of the village, next to the small river. The house is laid out over 3 floors.
Ground floor
- The kitchen is recently installed with new appliances and includes a 6 seater breakfast table.
- There is also a dining room table for 10 people.
- There is a small TV snug with a brick fireplace.
- There is a large lounge with a Cathedral ceiling and a huge 'U' shaped sofa. A set of French windows provides access out onto the terrace.
First floor
- Bedroom 1 is a double bedroom
- Bedroom 2 has a double bed and an en suite bathroom (with shower, wash basin and WC).
- Bedroom 3 is the large master bedroom with an en suite bathroom (with a bath, overhead shower, wash basin and WC).
Second floor
- Bedroom 4 is a lovely bedroom with exposed beams and a double bedroom.
- Bedroom 5 is a twin bedroom.
- There is a bathroom on this floor with a walk-in shower, wash basin and WC.
Outside: The large decking area outside includes a large outdoor table and heater. There is also a good-sized garden with shed at the bottom including bikes, table tennis and a gas barbecue.

A beautiful house to rent in Dordgne during the Autumn through to late Spring. St Jean de Cole is one of the prettiest villages in Dordogne and the house also provides easy access to Périgueux.

Saint-Jean-de-Cole is a medieval village in the north of the Dordogne near to Brantome. It dates back to the 11th century. St Jean de Cole has been officially classified as one of the most beautiful villages in France (les plus beaux villages de France). The house is situated on the river Cole with steps down to the water from the garden.

There is TGV train station in Perigueux. London St Pancras to Périgueux via Paris can be completed in just over 5 hours. The trip from Paris takes approximately 2h 20mins direct to Périgueux, which is the nearest TGV station and is approximately 30miles/50km from St Jean de Cole.
