This 300 year old stone cottage is located within the of the conservation zone in the heart of the village of Nezignan L'Eveque in South France and is available for long term rentals from September through to May each year. This pretty village is surrounded by vineyards and is just 20 mins to the Languedoc coast in the South of France. The historical town of Pezenas is just 3kms away and here you will find a good range of supermarkets, shops and restaurants.
The house has recently been renovated and it is bright and airy with lots of natural light. It is a compact property with 6 rooms, a full bathroom and sleeps up to 4 people in 2 bedrooms. The house is within easy walking distance of the boulangerie, shop, popular bar; excellent Pizza restaurant and an upmarket restaurant at the local hotel.
Available for long term rental from September through to May each year from €600 per month + bills.

The house is laid out over 3 levels.
Ground floor
- There is a newly fitted kitchen with washing machine, tumble dryer, cooker, microwave, fridge-freezer, dishwasher, toaster, espresso machine, kettle, iron and hob. There is a small breakfast table for eating.
- The main bathroom comes with a bath, overhead shower, washbasin and toilet.
- There is a doorway from the kitchen which provides access out onto the terrace, which comes equipped with bench seating a patio table and chairs and portable BBQ. The terrace is a quiet space to enjoy a morning coffee or a spot of lunch.There is also a seat in front of the house, where you can sit and watch the world go by.
First floor
- The dining room comes with a table and seating for 6 people.
- The living room features a bed settee and comfy seating. There is a CD and TV (UK freeview channels) with DVD.
Second floor
- There are 2 bedrooms with double beds and a toilet.
- The back bedroom offers wonderful views of the village and the next village.
There are radiator heaters for the cooler months and Wifi and a phone line (easily connected).

The long term rental prices are monthly and the minimum rental period is 3 months. The prices do not include utilities (electricity approximately €55 pcm, water €25 pcm, internet/telephone €35 pcm).

Last visited September 2021. The property is a wonderful, comfortable and cosy property in a lovely village near Pezenas. It is practical and has everything you need for a long term rental especially radiators, TV and Wifi. The property is on a quiet street with plenty of parking. It is ideal if you want to find accommodation close to all the facilities of Pezenas but still be situated amongst vineyards. Nezignan l'Eveque is a convenient location to explore the historic and cultural attractions of South France. Whether you are house hunting or having an extended holiday this long term rental near Pezenas is ideal.

This long term rental near Pezenas is in Nezignan l´Eveque which has a range of shops including a baker, mobile butcher, newsagent, grocer, post office, tourist office, hairdresser, beauticians, bar, medical centre and a hotel which has a very good restaurant, where you can also have a cool drink in the courtyard in the summer. The village holds a Music and Wine Festival every July. Other celebrations include Fete L´Ete (June), Bastille (July), Fete Local (July) and Fete des Vendanges (October). Take a walk along the historic route around the village.
The surrounding area is a wine lover´s paradise with a multitude of local vineyards providing someexcellent wines. A 5 minute drive from the lively medieval town of Pezenas, home of Moliere, withits period architecture and a great choice of restaurants, pavement cafes, art galleries, museums,boutiques and a super Saturday market, where you can buy local oysters, fresh fruit and vegetables and flowers.
Close by are the cities of Beziers (15 mins), Montpellier (50 mins), Carcassonne (60 mins), Perpignan (60 mins) and Nimes (90 mins.)
Other transport
There is a TGV train station in the nearby towns of Agde and Beziers. There is a regular bus service from Nezignan l´Eveque to Agde and from Pezenas to Beziers.
