The property is located around 1 hour from Toulouse airport and Rodez airport. Les Figuiers is located in peaceful countryside close to the picturesque villages of Monesties and Cordes-sur-Ciel. The historic city of Albi is 30 mins and the wine region of Gaillac is to the south.
The property comes with a large en-suite bedroom and a spacious living room with fitted kitchen, lounge and dining area. The property has an ADSL internet connection (which is OK for Zoom meetings) and is heated by electric radiators throughout.

The property is located in part of a stone farmhouse, which has a central courtyard. The property is situated on the first floor and is laid out all on one level. There is an external staircase up to the property.
You enter into the living room which contains the kitchen, dining area and lounge.
- The fitted kitchen comes with an oven, induction hob, fridge and microwave. There is a set of crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils.
- The dining table can seat up to 4 people.
- The lounge comes with a 2 sofas and a large armchair. There is a TV, with some international channels. One of the sofas folds out to form a double bed for occasional guests.
- The large bedroom comes with a double bed, 2 single beds and a large wardrobe.
- Next to the kitchen there is a bathroom with a shower cubicle, wash basin and WC.
Outside
- The courtyard garden is shared with the main house, there are however a number of quiet private areas to sit.
- There is parking next to the farmhouse for several cars.

This property in the Tarn is the perfect base for a couple or a single person, looking to spend a few quiet months in the South of France. Although located deep in the countryside, the large towns of Albi, Rodez and the city of Toulouse can all be accessed in around 1 hour.

Les Figuiers is located close to the village of Le Ségur in the northern part of the Tarn department. There is a boulangerie in the centre of the village Nearby there is the medium-sized town of Camaux, which has a good range of supermarkets shops and services.
The stunning hilltop village of Cordes-sur-Ciel is close-by and is listed as one of the 150 most beautiful villages in France. Monestiés is also one of "les plus beaux villages de France" and is only 3 kms away from the property. In the village there are shops and restaurants, one of which is open all year. Equally, you will find plenty of other breath-taking villages nearby, including Najac and Laguépie.
Albi is a Cathedral town on the Tarn River which is listed as an UNESCO World Heritage site. The town is 30 mins from the property. Dominating the skyline of Albi is the 13th-century, red-brick Sainte-Cécile Cathedral, a Gothic landmark with large interior frescoes such as the dramatic “Last Judgment.” The centuries-old Palais de la Berbie now houses the Musée Toulouse-Lautrec, honoring the Albi-born painter. The Fashion Museum, in a former convent, shows 18th–20th-century costumes.
Other transport
TGV train services can be taken from Toulouse or Montauban. Carmaux (12 kms) has a train station with services to Rodez, Gaillac and Toulouse.
Airports
The nearest international airport is located at Toulouse (1 hour 20 mins). Alternatively you can fly to Rodez airport (1 hour).

Le Ségur is located 1 hour north of Toulouse.
