This pretty house near the Mediterranean coast in South France is available for long term rentals from €800 per month + bills . The house comes with 1/2 bedrooms, a spacious living room and a roof terrace. The second bedroom can also be used as a home office. It is located in a small village near Perpignan, France.
Sorede is located on the coastal plain, in the foothills of the Pyrenees. From the village there are beautiful views. Sorede is 15 minute drive to the Mediterranean beaches (at Collioure and Argeles sur Mer) and provides easy access to Perpignan and Spain. The surrounding area has some beautiful walking and cycling routes in the mountains.

This terrace house in the centre of the village centre is laid out over 3 floors. There is 1 double bedroom and a nice bathroom. The house is located 50 metres to centre of village, with bars and restaurants.
On the ground floor you will find the entrance hall.

- The comfortable lounge features a large sofa and coffee table. A set of French windows provide access to the Juliette balcony.
- There is a small dining area with Scandinavian-style furniture.
On the second floor there is a toilet, home office and roof terrace.

If you are looking to rent in the South of France for 6 months of more, then this pretty house in Sorede is ideal. Inside the house is bright and spacious and it has been well renovated throughout. The house contains some original features such as the exposed stonework and provides comfortable accommodation for a couple or single person. The house is located in the centre of the village centre and it is just 100m to the shops, bars and restaurants.
The house is close to the Mediterranean coast and provides easy access to Perpignan as well.

The lovely Catalan village of Sorede is located just 20 mins South of Perpignan and 15 mins from the Mediterranean coast. The local coastline is called the Cote Vermeille and it is one of the loveliest stretches of coast in the South of France. Here you will find small coves as well as wide open beaches framed by the Pyrenees in the background.
Sorede itself is a lively village with plenty of restaurants, shops and cafe-bars. The nearby villages of Laroque des Alberes, Argeles-sur-Mer and Collioure also offer plenty of good restaurants and shopping.
The Spanish border is just 20km from Sorede and it is easy to pop over into Northern Spain for a lovely meal or for cheap shopping.
Other transport
There is a TGV train station in Perpignan, which provides frequent services up to Paris and down to Barcelona. There are regional trains to the nearby towns of Argeles sur Mer and Collioure.
Airports
The nearest airport is located just 35kms away at Perpignan. Girona airport in Northern Spain can be accessed in 45 mins drive.
Driving directions
Sorede is located along the D2 road which runs from Argeles sur Mer to Laroque-des-Alberes. The A9 motorway can be reached in 10 mins (nearest junction: Le Boulou).
