These restored stone barns for long term rentals in Dordogne, France, are situated in the small village of Fajoles, close to the Dordogne river and the beautiful villages of Domme, La Roque-Gageac and Sarlat. Both barns come with 4 bedrooms and can sleep up to 8 people. The barns are comfortably furnished and benefit from central heating, UK TV, WiFi, a washing machine and plenty of outdoor space.
Available for rental between October-April each year from €1000 per month + bills. The Owner will accept pets through prior agreement.

There are two barns available for long term rentals between October to April. Here we feature the property called Nicotiana.
- The front door of the property leads into the open plan living room which contains the kitchen and dining room. This room features the original exposed beams of the barn.
- The dining room is fitted with an antique dresser and a long wooden table and 8 chairs.
- The fully-equipped kitchen comes with an oven, hob and fridge-freezer.
- The large lounge is furnished with 3 comfortable sofas and an armchair. There is a large television (with Freeview UK channels), stereo, a book case and coffee table.
- Also on the ground floor there is a fully tiled shower room, containing a shower cubicle, hand basin, toilet, washing machine and ironing board.
A staircase leads up to the first floor landing which provides access to the 4 bedrooms and family bathroom.
- Bedroom 1 is a large bedroom with King-size bed, wardrobe, dressing table and bedside tables.
- Bedroom 2 is also a good size and is fitted with a King-size bed, chest of drawers, wardrobe and bedside tables.
- Bedroom 3 contains 2 single beds, a wardrobe and 2 bedside tables.
- Bedroom 4 is a twin bedroom and also contains a wardrobe and bedside tables.
- The family bathroom comes with a shower cubicle, vanity unit and WC.
Outside:
- There is a private garden with a decking area in front of the barn. The garden comes with a BBQ, large patio table and chairs, as well as a garden bench.
- There is a large shared garden at the back of the barns, mainly laid to lawn. Each barn has a seating area with table and chairs and parasol. The garden looks out over open fields and agricultural buildings
- There is private parking for several cars on the small lane outside the barns. There are working agricultural buildings on the lanes, but traffic is very minimal.

The prices for these long term rentals in Dordogne, France, are based on an occupancy level of 2-4 people. There is a small monthly supplment for an occupancy level of 4-8 people. The prices are monthly and do not include the utility bills. Linen and towels can be provided, as well as a baby cot and high chair. Minimum rental period is 1 months. The prices quoted are based on a 6 month rental period (higher rates may apply to shorter periods)

Located on the border of the Dordogne and Lot regions, the local landscape is dominated by the Dordogne valley which cuts through the undulating hills of the local landscape. The area features ancient forests, limestone cliffs, beautiful Chateaux and stunning villages such as Domme, La Roque-Gageac and Sarlat.
The local area is a haven for food & wine lovers. The regional wines of Bordeaux, Cahors and Bergerac are well-known outside of France, but you also need to discover the wines of Monbazillic and Pécharment. The region provides many culinary treats including wild mushrooms, truffles, walnuts, as well as fois gras, cheese and various duck dishes. With many local markets to choose from, you can find some excellent fresh local ingredients to bring home and cook up.
There is a range of local activities to undertake, including a superb 18 hole golf-course within a short drive; some beautiful local walking routes (including the famous GR 46 route); as well as plenty of local bike hire services where you can enjoy the excellent cycling routes in the area.
The Dordogne valley is also a fantastic family friendly area, full of fun leisure activities for kids. They can canoe or swim in the river, which is quite safe and shallow.
