La Maisonnette is a cute little 2 bed house for rent in Southern France. The property is located on a peaceful country estate, situated on a wooded hillside. Nearby you can enjoy magnificent walks, explore the surrounding hills on a mountain-bike or take out one of the horses from the nearby stables. You can enjoy the unspoilt nature and the beautiful views of the Pyrenees mountains in the distance. This long term rental property has its own private terrace and comes with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, as well as a wood burning stove.
The property is available for monthly rentals between September to May/June from €675 pcm + bills. Pets accepted through prior agreement.

Ground floor
- You enter into a small hallway. A door leads into the kitchen.
- The fully equipped kitchen comes with an electric oven, gas hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker and washing machine. There is a dining table in the kitchen which can seat 4-6 people.
- The living room has a tiled floor and wooden beamed ceiling. There are 4 comfortable armchairs, a coffee table, TV and dresser. The living room also has a wood burning stove and French windows which lead out onto the terrace.
First floor
- Bedroom 1 comes with a double bed and has wooden floors. The en suite bathroom has a walk-in shower, WC and wash basin.
- Bedroom 2 is fitted with twin beds. The en suite bathroom has a walk-in shower, wash basin and WC.
Outside
- There is a gravel terrace area to the side of the house, with access from the kitchen and living room. The terrace has a set of table and chairs and a charcoal BBQ.
- There is a parking area for 2 cars.
- The house is situated on a private estate, surrounded by stunning countryside and there are splendid views in every direction. There are beautiful walks through the woodland

This house for long term rentals is located in a beautiful part of Southern France, with stunning views of the Pyrenees. The house is very rural, so a car will be essential. The house comes with a wood burner, which helps keep it lovely and warm over the winter period. The surrounding countryside offers you all the peace and quiet that you could need - horse-riding, mountain-biking, bird watching, walking and swimming in the nearby lakes are all available for the active.

This private estate is situated on the Col de La Flotte, a wooded hillside where you have a beautiful view of the Pyrenees. This is the definition of rural tranquility. This long term rental property in South France is situated just outside the small village of Sonnac-sur-l'Hers, in the Aude department in the sunny Languedoc region. This is a great location for exploring nearby towns including Mirepoix, Limoux and the medieval fortified town of Carcassonne. Also a superb spot to go skiing at the slopes of Ax les Thermes just an hour away.
In Chalabre, only a 10 minutes drive away, you will find shops, a supermarket, a bank and restaurants. There is a market every Monday morning in Mirepoix (25 minutes drive).

There is a regional train station at Carcassonne and a local train station at Limoux.
