The apartment is located on the second floor of a beautiful stone town house. You approach the apartment via a curved stone staircase, which has remained unchanged for over 600 years.
Inside the apartment features a modern fully-equipped kitchen, a spacious living room, 3 good sized bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The apartment comes with gas central heating.
- There is a large open plan living room with double height ceiling and stone fireplace. The living room has two full height French windows which allow plenty of light to flood into the apartment and offer great views of the church and the medieval streets.
- The kitchen comes with fitted cupboards, an oven, induction hob and space for a refrigerator and dishwasher. The kitchen has beautiful vintage tiles on the floor.
- Bedroom 1 is a beautiful bedroom with exposed stone walls, solid wooden floor and a stunning curved alcove that is part of the turret of the building.
- The bathroom is fitted with a walk-in shower, toilet, wash basin and washing machine.
- Bedroom 2 is another large bedroom with 2 tall French windows. This bedroom comes with fitted wardrobes
- Bedroom 3 is a smaller bedroom (approximately 10m2). The bedroom has a cupboard for storage.
- Bathroom 2 comes with a bath, walk-in shower and wash basin. There is a separate toilet.

This apartment can be rented for up to 12 months. The monthly price of €750 is based on a 6 month stay. In addition to the rent, there is a monthly provision of €150 towards the electricity, water, internet and local taxes. Minimum stay is 3 months. A private parking place is available nearby for €20 per week/€50 per month.

Apartment Templier Pezenas France - our opinion
This beautiful apartment provides comfortable accommodation for a family in the historic town of Pezenas in Southern France. Although right in the centre of Pezenas, the apartment is quiet and calm. The apartment is funished with a bathroom and fitted kitchen cupboards, but will require a, fridge-freezer, dishwasher and washing machine to be installed. Bedroom and lounge furniture will also need to be provided by the tenant.

The apartment is located opposite the medieval church in the centre of Pezenas. The building was founded by the Knights Templar and is known locally as Hotel des Templiers. The building is located on rue Chevaliers Saint-Jean, which gives a clue to the origins of the building. In France the Knights Templar operated under the name Ordre de Saint-Jean de Jérusalem and in English (from Latin) the organisation was known as the Order of Knights of the Hospital of Saint John of Jerusalem. The Chevaliers were the elite warrior Knights who belonged to the organisation.
Pezenas is without doubt one of the prettiest towns in the South of France. The town is home to many artists and antiques dealers. There are many festivals and events which take place throughout the year and the Saturday market in the town is one of the largest markets in the area.
