This light and spacious 4 bed house for long term rentals in Autignac, Southern France, comes with plenty of character and is within easy walking distance of the shops and services in the village. The house has been beautifully restored and features exposed stone walls, oak beams and a charming private courtyard garden with pool.
The Mediterranean beaches are only 30 minutes away and the beautiful High Languedoc National Park is only 5 minutes away.
Available for long term rentals from October to May from €1350 + bills.

The property is laid out over 3 floors and offers four good-sized bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a sunny upper terrace and private pool measuring 3.5 x 5m.
First Floor:
- Spacious open-plan living room with dining area and fully equipped modern kitchen with quartz worktops. There is a small pantry next to the kitchen, as well as a separate toilet.
- In the lounge, there is a home entertainment centre with surround sound with a selection of CDs and English speaking DVDs provided, including some children's favourites.
- The kitchen is equipped with a cooker/oven, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, fridge/freezer and plentiful supply of cooking utensils.
- Bedroom 1: the master bedroom has a king-size bed, exposed oak beams and stone walls. The bedroom leads onto an en suite bathroom with elegant Victorian-style bath and shower over. WC. Sink
Second Floor:
- Spacious mezzanine area.
- Bedroom 2: Two x single beds. Fitted wardrobes and polished wooden floors.
- Bedroom 3: King-sized double bed. Fitted wardrobes.
- Bedroom 4: Double bed. (NB: Slightly sloping ceiling).
- Bathroom 2: the spacious bathroom comes with a walk-in shower, sink, WC.
Outside:
The living area opens onto a south-facing terrace with a dining table and chairs. There are steps that lead down to the enclosed courtyard garden with a private swimming pool (open mid-May to end-September).
The garden is very private. There is a separate toilet in the garden area. There are ample sun loungers, chairs, a children's paddling pool and a large barbecue. The garden contains a variety of Mediterranean style potted plants, such as lavender, rosemary and an olive tree.

The house is available for long term rentals from 3 to 8 months (between October to May). The prices do not include the electricity, water, WiFi and communal taxes. There is a monthly provision of €300 towards the utility costs. Minimum stay is 3 months

Last visited: June 2023. This stunning character house for long term rentals in the wine-making village of Autignac, Languedoc; offers comfortable accommodation for a family or couple with frequent visitors. The character of the house has been retained with exposed oak beams, stone walls and tiled floors.

Autignac is a sleepy, yet authentic working village, surrounded by vineyards and rolling countryside with views onto the Haut Languedoc mountains.
The village has all the shops for your basic requirements, including a bakery, butchers, chemist, post office, grocery and café bar. The latter also serves great value lunches. Approximately 2 miles away at Magalas are a couple of larger supermarkets (Intermarché and Aldi).
Other transport
There is a TGV train station in the nearby town of Beziers.

Driving directions
Autignac is located just off the D909 main road, 15 mins north west of Beziers. The A9/A75 motorways are just 15 mins drive.
One month deposit to be paid at time of reservation. The deposit will become the security deposit during your stay. The rent is to be paid on the first day of each month. There is a monthly provision of €300 towards the utility bills. Sorry, pets not accepted.
