This 4 bed long term rental villa with private pool in South France is located in the charming hilltop village of Neffies. Villa Sérénité is a fantastic modern villa nestled in the hills of the pretty village of Neffies. It benefits from a large 8m x 4m pool, large garden and 4 bedrooms. It is the perfect place to enjoy a relaxing few months in the South of France - close to Pezenas and the coast.
The villa is a pleasant 5 minute stroll into the village, where you can find your fresh baguettes and croissants for breakfast and an excellent restaurant, bar, wine cave, shop, tennis court and playground.
Available for long term rentals between September and June from €1250 per month + bills.

The house is laid out over 2 floors. All bedrooms & the living areas have Air conditioning.
First floor
The first floor-
- A well equipped kitchen area with oven, hob & fridge freezer and a dining table with access onto the terrace.
- Lounge area with several sofas and TV, with patio doors leading onto the terrace and pool area
- Separate W/C
- Bedroom with a daybed which can be extended to a double bed if needed.
Second Floor
- Master Bedroom with two double (140cm) beds with ensuite bathroom with shower.
- Bedroom with 2 single beds & storage
- Bedroom with double bed & storage
- On this floor there is a good sized family bathroom with bath/shower and a separate WC.
Outside
On entering the property there is plenty of parking for 2 cars, at the back of the house there is a large lawned garden with an 8x4m pool surrounded by a terrace for sunloungers & relaxing the day away.
The terrace accesible from the lounge and kitchen has an Outside table with seating and BBQ.

The villa is available for monthly rentals from September to June (not available during July & August). The prices do not include the utility bills and communal taxes (there is a monthly provision of €300 towards the bills). Minimum stay is 6 months.
Long term rentals (October to May): from €1250 per month + bills
Long term rentals (June and September): from €1800 per month + bills

Villa Sérénité - South France long term rentals villa - Our opinion:
Last visited March 2022. A lovely big villa ideal for a family or a couple with frequent visitors. With a good size pool, air con, internet and set in a quiet location on the edge of the village, this is the ideal spot for a relaxing few months in the South of France.
Neffies is a great location - ideal for visiting the beach and also touring the local vineyards. There is one of the best restaurants in the area (Le Very'Table) located in the centre of the village, just walking distance away.

Villa Sérénité is situated in the village of Neffies, which is an excellent location for visitors to explore this beautiful corner of France. Located on the edge of the “Parc Naturel regional du Haute-Languedoc” the surrounding vineyards produce award-winning wine, many of which can be sampled at the village Cave. Also in the village is a bakers, for your daily baguette and morning croissants, and there is a well-stocked provisions store, which has a meat and deli counter. A van visits once a week selling fresh seafood, including local oysters and mussels direct from the producers. The village also provides a post office, children’s play area and tennis courts. The family-friendly bar serves French fare lunchtimes and evenings, with great views from their terrace. Alternatively, one of the best restaurants in the area is tucked behind Neffies’ Gothic church.
Less than fifteen minutes drive away is the ancient market town of Pezenas, with it`s atmospheric old quarter, artist’s studios and boutiques, and wide variety of bars and restaurants. There is also a fabulous market on Saturday, and on Friday evenings during the summer there are wine tasting events with the added bonus of the shops staying open until midnight.
A thirty-five minute drive will take you to the Mediterranean coastal resorts where you’ll find long stretches of sandy beaches with safe, shallow waters for swimming, all kinds of water sports, and a lively buzz in the cafes and bars.
Other transport
There is a TGV train station located at Montpellier, Beziers and Agde. Local bus services run from each of these towns to Pezenas, with connecting bus routes to Roujan and Neffies.

One month deposit to be paid at time of reservation. The deposit will become the security deposit on the first day of the rental. Rent to be paid monthly in advance. There is a monthly provision of €300 towards the electricity, water, internet and communal taxes.
